Beautiful mothers to be...

I wanted to showcase  a few maternity photos. I love doing these! It's always wonderful to see the glow of a mommy to be. I have always wanted to do an outdoor maternity shoot in the snow, but have not  had anyone's last trimester fall during the snowy season with someone willing to be half naked and frozen cold for 20 minutes or so. I fantasize about a snowy forest scene with tall trees, white fur trimmed coat and bare belly...I think it would be beautiful and primal. Here are a few photos taken in 2011.

Surprise Mom!

Happy Mother's day, love Anthony and Samuel

What a cute idea for a father to secretly have his boys photographed for mom on her day. I took about 100 photos of Anthony and Samuel and made a book and DVD for them to surprise mom with on May 13th. Too cute. The photos featured the boys in their caps, with their guitars and lots of feet! We did indoor and outdoor photos and after they became comfortable with me shooting them, they were all smiles and full of expression. We can't forget Thor, the 12 year old Yorkie who is part of their family and is very grateful for his mommy as well!
